8vo-On the Outside by Mark Holt(Author), Hamish Muir (Author)

Hamish Muir visited the AIB on 10th March, 09 to talk about his current typography practice. I was inspired by his work experiences. In particular, I am interested in his work experiences in those Pre-Mac days. Manufacture by hand in design printing can be a form of art. Nowadays, you can find more inspiration in it when the final image come out. Also, It's can be more imaginative than digital image. In my point of view, it's generation of ideas. It's about insight. Where this would signify something earlier dose not necessarily signify anything now. (Peter Saville, 2005). Maybe something isn't groovy always but the process and the meaning behind the concept are always good to give an insight into other designer's lives.
